What is a Custom Edition?

A Custom Edition is a Bible or book of Scripture that is customized for an individual church or organization. The American Bible Society offers the following ways to create a Custom Edition:

Custom Printed Book

  • Your organization may design the cover of the book.
  • You may supply the artwork for the cover or choose from one of the ABS designed covers.
  • You can include additional pages of text and pictures.
  • The minimum quantity for a custom printed book is 2,000 copies.

  • Another way to create a Custom Edition is by stamping the cover of a book from stock. This is an economical way for your organization to personalize just the cover of a book from our catalog with stamped text or logo.
